South Africans have taken to social media to express their frustrations following a technical issue that saw data disappearing.

Vodacom has been under fire recently after its subscribers complained about their data disappearing after minutes of reloading. Earlier today, it apologised for the inconvenience and announced that it was in the process of refunding its subscribers.
“We can confirm that we have reimbursed customers affected by last night’s billing issue and remain committed to ensuring that all customers are refunded in full. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. If you are still experiencing an issue, please send a mail to social.media@vodacom.co.za and we will investigate,” it said.
However, EFF national spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi said paying back its customers the data it “stole” was not enough for the network provider.
“Vodacom must give a coherent explanation of what happened and someone in higher management Must Fall,” he said.
Though some commented on its announcement, confirming they had been reimbursed, some were still waiting, while the rest used the opportunity to troll the service provider, as if it was not experiencing enough problems.
A troll on its Facebook page said the network provider was now taking back its call backs.
“Just when I thought you’ve hurt me enough by stealing my data now boom! You even stealing my call backs? What’s wrong with Vodacom?” they asked.
Obviously, this was all a joke.
These were some of the hilarious comments on Facebook:
“I haven’t got anything from u plz are ska tlwaelana coz now ke tshaba Lego recharge nxa.”
“Whoever you are wena who is responding what happened with our data’s mara yeeh can u please give us back our data or else you will force as to switch to Cell C and enjoy free things coz you are robbing us sis maan we are busy saying good things about you kganthi we are fooling yourselves.”
“At least a free 5GB for the inconvenience.”
“I need ma data and airtime or go to hell Vodacom.”
