The City Power notices show that the outages will occur from 8am to 4pm, or 9am to 5pm in each area.

City Power has announced a series of planned power interruptions across several regions in Johannesburg in the coming days, as part of its ongoing network maintenance programme.
These power outages are scheduled to begin as early as 8am and will last until 5pm at the latest, with interruptions planned from Thursday through to Sunday.
Load shedding remains suspended.
Residents and businesses in Region B will experience a power outage on Thursday, from 9am until 5pm, as City Power conducts maintenance work at the Olivedale Substation.
“The interruption is necessary to do maintenance work on our network, which is part of our programme of constantly striving to provide a better service,” City Power stated in its public announcement.
The following areas in Region B will be affected:

Similarly, the Lufhereng area in Region C will also face a power interruption on Thursday from 8am until 4pm due to essential maintenance work at the Lufhereng Substation.
The following area in Region C will be affected:
A previously planned power interruption at Orlando Switching Station has been rescheduled for Saturday.
The outage will occur from 8am until 2pm, affecting numerous industrial areas in Region B.

On Sunday, City Power will conduct maintenance work at the Gresswold substation in Region E from 8am until 2pm.

For all planned interruptions, City Power has advised residents to exercise caution: “As the supply may be restored at any time, customers are urged to always treat their electricity supply points as live.”
The utility company has also expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by these necessary maintenance works.
