The body of a 16-year-old boy, who went missing while swimming at Blythedale Beach on Monday, was found on Thursday morning, Zululand Observer reports.
The IPSS Medical Rescue team, KwaDukuza lifeguards and SAPS Search and Rescue officers, had been conducting searches since Monday, and found the teen’s body near Zinkwazi Beach.

An off-duty police officer noticed the swimmer in difficulty and alerted IPSS Medical Rescue and the KwaDukuza District Municipality’s Fire and Rescue unit.
Several vessels were launched on Wednesday, covering the northern and southern areas from the point of entry.
Shoreline patrols and drone aerial searches were also conducted.
