Mega New Year’s party!

The party will start at 4pm on December 31, and carry on until 7am on January 1.

Time Square in Pretoria is gearing up to host one of the biggest New Year’s Eve parties the city has ever seen, with no less than 13 talented local and international DJs and master mixers to keep you dancing for 15 hours straight.

The party will feature some of the country’s hottest DJs, including Black Coffee, Euphonik, Kent, Vin Deysel, Dino Bravo, Ready D, Jazzy D, Black Motion and Ralf Gum. International acts include DJs Harrison Crump and Cocoa Chanelle from the US and Ralf Gum from Germany.

“We are closing 2017 with the exuberant bang that it deserves,” says Brett Hoppé, general manager of Time Square South Africa.

The party will start at 4pm on December 31, and carry on until 7am on January 1. “Fashioned along the lines of the world’s biggest New Year’s parties, Time Square South Africa’s bash, The New year’s Eve Block Party, will be an audio-visual spectacular of epic proportions,” Hoppé.

The Sun Arena is the first venue of its kind in Tshwane and also the largest purpose-built indoor seated arena in South Africa, with an area of over 6 300m² of combined seating and mixed-use performance space on two levels. It can house 8 500 guests.
