Man found dead after being shot and strangled

ER24 paramedics found the man in the front seat of the car, with the driver’s window rolled down at about 11.20pm,  ER24 spokeswoman Annine Siddall said on Saturday.

The back windows of the car were broken. The man was unresponsive and had sustained a gunshot wound to his chest. It also appeared that he had been strangled.

“There was nothing paramedics could to to save the patient and he was declared dead on the scene. No form of identification was found and local authorities will conduct an investigation,” Siddall said.
