Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) national spokesperson Mbuyiseni ‘people’s bae’ Ndlozi is celebrating his birthday today. He turns 32. Birthday messages have been flooding his Twitter timeline, with EFF leader Julius Malema also taking the time to celebrate his friend.
Taking to Instagram, Malema urged South Africans to celebrate Ndlozi while he is still alive. “We salute him for being a good human being in all respects. He must continue to make positive contribution in the struggle to restore the dignity of the forgotten poor masses of our people. Happy birthday, the people’s commissar,” he wrote.
His rumoured bae, Mmabatho Montsho, also sent him wishes, calling him a “people’s person”.
Ndlozi grew up in a female-dominated house, with his grandmother and mother, who he describes as his “maker” because she educated him. Just like Malema, he respects his grandmother because she taught him discipline.
Though he has said the women in parliament are “too old” for him to have a crush on, Ndlozi said he could have had a “great crush” on speaker of parliament Baleka Mbete, but she got married before it could happen.
To celebrate this national treasure, we share videos of the people’s bae that show exactly why he is a treasure.
He makes most people blush, but this time, he did it in parliament, and his victim was Mbete:
When he danced to Xitsonga music at Floyd Shivambu’s wedding:
Shem, when he left former finance minister Pravin Gordhan confused after interrupting him in parliament:
This after giving now finance minister Malusi Gigaba an English lesson. Gigaga seemed to have been confusing “coalition” and “collision”:
The worst was when Buti Manamela agreed to represent the ANC in a debate against the EFF. Ndlozi’s speech left him playing with his hands:
A wonderful birthday to you Ndlozi, we wish you many more years of singing and dancing!
