Looking for a secondhand coffin? These guys have you covered
A tweet posted on Thursday afternoon advertising secondhand coffins has to be read twice to be believed.

This is probably you right now:
The tweet straightforwardly mentions that yes, they are secondhand, yes, they are for sale, yes, there are numbers to call (078 308 2118, there you go), and “thank you”. At no point does Twitter user @siya_mara betray any awareness that there is one important detail missing in the post: where do you find coffins to sell secondhand?
Second hand coffins for sale. Please DM me for details or contact 078 308 2118.
Thank you.

The explanation for this, however, is a lot less attention-grabbing, so in hindsight it was clever of them to leave out the clarification in the first tweet that they do NOT exhume bodies from coffins.
Thank you for your interest everyone, the original owners found better ones.
Thank you.

Again, it is admirable how @siya_mara so casually plays down everyone’s collective astonishment as “interest”. She could sell you pre-used toothbrushes and make you doubt there is anything unusual about it.
Someone found an important thing to take from this though:

Any reluctance to consider these guys is probably unwarranted, as the coffins were probably never used, only purchased and then returned before the corpse could be placed inside them. So if you are looking to cut costs, try that number or slide into @siya_mara’s direct messages.
