Two women who were arrested for the theft of a motor vehicle were sentenced in the Benoni Magistrate’s Court on April 16, Benoni City Times reports.
Refiloe Happiness Ramela (26) and Gontse Francina Ngwenya (25) were each sentenced to four years’ imprisonment.

The two were arrested on September 27, 2016.
Ramela and Ngwenya were sentenced for a case in Crystal Park and Tembisa.
Crystal Park SAPS spokesperson Const Itumeleng Maduna said the two met with the two women at a club in Kwa-Thema, Springs on August 26, 2016.
“The men took Ramela and Ngwenya to their house, where they continued to party,” said Maduna.
“The victims were then drugged and, when they woke up, their personal belongings and vehicle had been stolen.”
Crystal Park station commander Lt Col Belinda Motaung commended Const Sylvia Moremedi for her hard work during the investigation.
The sentences will be served at a prison in Naturena.
