Tempers flared at an ANC gathering in Howick outside Pietermaritzburg on Monday evening when some ruling party members tried to force their way into a meeting that was to be addressed by ousted ANC provincial secretary, Super Zuma, Pietermaritzburg Public Eye reports.
The meeting was meant to determine the state of readiness for the Moses Mabhida Region to hold its elective conference.

In the above video, which is circulating on social media, a bodyguard can be seen drawing his gun with the crowd chanting “dubula, dubula”, daring him to shoot.
The incident is the latest in the ongoing saga of tensions in the ruling party where factions aligned to former president Jacob Zuma and those siding with current president Cyril Ramaphosa continue to fight over power.
