Two teenagers died in a car accident between Secunda and SkyHill in Secunda, Mpumalanga, this morning, 9 April, Ridge Times reports.
According to police spokesman Captain Bettina Zondo, the bakkie they were travelling in from Evander to Secunda allegedly drove into the back of a Mammoet truck.

Rescue workers battled to free the children from the wreckage.
Jaco Horn from GTR towing said the girl and boy appear to have been between the ages of 13 and 17 years, but this information has yet to be confirmed. The children’s mother and sibling have been injured and were transported to hospital.
Paramedics from Langamed South Services and ER24 are on the scene, as well as the Govan Mbeki Municipal fire brigade, security services and the emergency chaplain services.
The road is currently closed, and motorists are urged to use alternative routes past Graceland or via Trichardt.
