Mapleton repairs: Tshwane residents left high and dry
While electricity has been restored at the Mapleton pump station following a cable theft incident which led to a power outage, it will reportedly take a few more days for the system to stabilise.
The full restoration of water at Mapleton will take a couple of days,” said the mayor’s spokesperson Sipho Stuurman.
The station, which supplies the eastern parts of Tshwane, was also affected due to flooding of the Zuikerbosch water treatment plant engine room last week.
