An extensive search for 28-year-old Nomathamsanqu Sinobuhle Ndaba, who went missing on Friday, came to a tragic halt on Monday afternoon, reports Estcourt and Midlands News.
Colenso Police and a member from tracker Ladysmith Police K9 unit searched the area where her white VW Polo – registration number NE 27629 – had stopped.
The K9 Unit picked up a scent near a manhole and that was where the lifeless body of Nadba was recovered.

“The manhole contained cabling from either Eskom or Telkom. This manhole was … about six meters from the R103,” said police spokesperson Captain Bongani Nyathi.
The cause of death will be known once the post-mortem results return. A murder case will be filed at the Colenso police station for further investigation.
Ndaba was a teacher at Kwadlamini High School in Kwadlamini/Nthabamphlope, and a mother of two.
