The Lynnwood Ridge man who shot two alleged robbers dead at the weekend has laid a case of intimidation after a group of strangers visited his home, Pretoria East Rekord reports.
The man told police that over 10 people came to his home on Monday morning and threatened to kill him in what appeared to be a reprisal for Saturday’s shooting.

The man’s security provider as well as the police responded, and the crowd dispersed.
The man shot dead two alleged robbers as they tried to steal his car with his family in it, police spokesperson Captain Dave Miller said.
Miller said the family arrived home and found an unknown car in the driveway.
The man went to investigate, but then one robber jumped into his car.
However, he smashed into a wall as he tried to drive off with the man’s family.
The second robber then rammed his vehicle into the man’s vehicle, which was blocking his path.
The man managed to rescue his family and, in the process, both suspects were shot.
They were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Miller said various household goods were found in the suspects’ vehicle.
“At this stage, no charges will be pressed against the homeowner,” Miller said.
