The Alien and UFO Expo has finally arrived in South Africa and the Sandton Convention Centre will host the Joburg leg of the anticipated event, Randburg Sun reports.

The diversified indoor sci-fi exhibition will feature several interesting elements that include the 7 Adventure Worlds namely astronomy and Physics World, prehistoric world, cartoon world, celebrities world, technology and gaming world, robotics world and alien world.
The exhibition’s main objective is to provide edutainment and encourage youngsters to pursue their interest in science beyond the boundaries of the classroom. The world-class exhibition will occupy at least 5 000 square metres of indoor space for 10 days at the convention centre.
The activation area will have a variety of activities featuring the latest technology in the gaming industry, and will also feature wax and silicone figures of world-famous politicians and celebrities.
Organisers say that since this is an era of technology and robotics, it will be a great platform for children from all walks of life to enjoy, learn and have fun.
The expo will also tour Durban and Cape Town with dates still to be confirmed. There will also be merchandise on sale at the exhibition.
