Sebenza SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Sharon Tsotsotso advised residents to secure their gate motors with bars and locks.

“This is a recent trend. In two cases, the gate motors were stolen at night. Others were stolen during the day while the property owners were not at home,” Tsotsotso said.
