Pick n Pay message doing the rounds is a scam
A message stated the retail giant was giving away vouchers worth R4k.
Pick n Pay has warned customers not to click on the link given in this scam message
On Thursday evening, Pick n Pay posted on social media saying the message being circulated on Whatsapp and other messaging platforms was a scam, Bosveld Review reports.
The message reads: “Pick n Pay celebrates its 50th anniversary and gives away vouchers worth R4000 each! I have just received one from here.”

“We’ve been notified of a link doing the rounds on WhatsApp that leads to a site claiming that Pick n Pay is giving away a R4 000 gift card on completion of a survey. THIS IS A SCAM,” their post read.
The retailer said they were not involved at all, and were not giving away gift cards.
“Please do not click on the link or give away any personal information,” they warned.
