Motorists will have to dig deep into their pockets as of today, April 4, after Minister of Energy Jeff Radebe announced a massive hike in fuel prices.
A number of influencing factors in the fuel price adjustments include the increase in Fuel and Road Accident Fund levies, the increase in transport costs and the contribution of the Rand/US Dollar exchange rate, among others, North Coast Courier reports.

Motorists on the coast began to pay R13.89 for 95 octane and R13.74 for 93 octane from midnight, April 3.
The price of all grades of diesel will climb by 65.2 cents per litre.
