Vincent Khosa, the man who bravely saved a boy from the flooding Jukskei River was tracked down by MEC for community safety in Gauteng, Nkosi Sizakele-Malobane, reports Alex News.
Alex News reported on 9 March on a video that went viral showing Khosa making his way along a pole on which the boy was stranded above the flooding river.
Vision Tactical, a private security company, managed to track down Khosa and the young boy, Mplio Ngubane, with the help of the MEC.

In the video, the man steadily hops onto a pole to get to the child. The child then piggybacks on him as they safely make they way to land.
It was unclear how the child got there.
