A man died instantly when he allegedly jumped off a railway bridge over the N3 highway in Germiston on Tuesday afternoon, reports Germiston City News.
Capt André de Jager, spokesperson for the Ekurhuleni West Cluster SAPS, said: “It is alleged the unknown man was standing on the railway bridge over the highway when he jumped off the bridge.
“He was killed instantly.”
An inquest docket has been opened by the Germiston police for investigation.
The man’s identity is unknown at this stage.
