“The truck lost control during the rain, and as I tried to steer it back to the road, my right front wheel stepped onto the yellow line and overturned,” Thabo Nyathi told The Herald.

Ice-cream gone.

According to a senior police official at the scene, the occupants remained on the side of the road for quite some time because the nearest police station is 18 kilometres away.

The truck, travelling from Nelspruit, was en route to Tzaneen for deliveries.

No serious injuries were sustained in the accident.
