Emergencies are unexpected, and it is important to know what to do in emergency situations, especially those involving medical assistance.
Quick Response Service (QRS), an emergency medical service provider, gave a list of things to remember when calling for an ambulance, Randburg Sun reports.

“It is crucial that you provide the dispatcher with your name and contact details in the event of an emergency. It enables them to keep you updated on where the ambulance is as well as allow you to contact them to provide further information regarding what is happening on the scene,” said QRS spokesperson Jackie van Deventer.
Van Deventer explained that giving as many details as possible about the medical emergency enables the emergency service to send out the appropriate resources for the emergency.
