Jozi FM and Soweto TV presenter Thembinkosi ‘Mangethe’ Zwane dies
The radio personality and poet passed away after a long battle with diabetes.
Forty-three-year-old Jozi FM presenter Thembinkosi Zwane has passed away due to complications caused by diabetes, IOL reports.
He succumbed to the illness on January 11.
Zwane was a stalwart at Jozi FM, working there for two decades.
Zwane, who was popularly known for serving longest at the Soweto based radio station, worked for Jozi FM for two decades.
Jozi FM station manager Mpho Mhlongo said: “He (Zwane) was passionate about culture and heritage. He used his show to preach the importance of culture and heritage.”
