The case against a department of home affairs official and her co-accused has been postponed by the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court, Fourways Review reports. The official, Maria Kobola, is accused of allegedly issuing permits to live in the country illegally.
The permits were allegedly issued illegally to Chinese nationals. The other accused, Chen Yung, is alleged to have been working with Kobola in the illegal operation.

The case was postponed to 6 February for trial purposes.
