Roodepoort Police are currently investigating a case of business robbery after the Engen Petrol Station on Corlett Avenue was allegedly robbed at gunpoint this morning, 16 May, Roodepoort Record reports.
According to the petrol attendants at the station, five unknown men arrived at the station in a silver grey Polo Vivo at this morning and pretended to be customers.

The suspects allegedly asked for biltong and popcorn before approaching the cashier and demanding money from the till and safe.
The robbers were unable to gain access to the safe, as none of the employees had access to the password. The robbery apparently only lasted a couple of minutes.
When the Roodepoort Record arrived on the scene, police were already collecting information from the victims and attempts to locate the getaway vehicle were being made.
