Four men in police custody after Randpark Ridge break-in

Four suspects are in police custody after armed response services responded to a house break-in on Monkor Road in Randpark Ridge on Thursday.


Four suspects are in police custody after armed response services responded to a housebreaking on Monkor Road on November 30, Randburg Sun reports.

Four men in a silver Mercedes-Benz are alleged to have broken into the house after tampering with its gate and steal electronic goods.

A silver Mercedes that was allegedly used in the commission of a crime stands on the side of Monkor Road, waiting for police to take evidence.

Greg Pearce of Community Support Services said: “After the Gate Buddy alarm went off, our Community Support Services team responded in minutes.

“When we arrived on the scene, we noticed a silver Mercedes parked outside with a man inside. He then shouted to the three men inside the property, and they quickly dispersed and ran in different directions.

“We called for backup, and shot rounds at the Merc, which then came to a stop after its back wheel and windshield were shot out.”
