City Power has issued a warning to residents about suspicious vehicles engaging in cable theft, Randburg Sun reports.
Residents should be on the lookout for suspicious construction vehicles working on the electrical network, whether marked or unmarked.

The vehicles are of no specific make, model or colour, and suspects are supposedly wearing construction attire.
Ward 104 councillor Mike Wood, is concerned about the cable theft problem happening in his ward.
He said, “This has been an ongoing issue, particularly in the Kensington B area. They have had issues with extensive cable theft, and we encourage people to report suspicious behaviour such as this.”
