Three other patients sustained serious injuries and one sustained moderate injuries. Two of the seriously injured were airlifted to hospital by Netcare 911’s medical helicopter.
Medical service on the scene transported the rest of the injured to hospital for further medical care. The exact details surrounding the incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
Ster/Vaalweekblad established unofficially that the deceased person was a little girl aged eight.
