Debris landed all over the floor as when the car came smashed through the windows.
A car guard is busy cleaning up in front of Baker’s Centre Heidelberg. A female driver apparently reversed from the far side of the road – failing to stop and reversed over the sidewalk – crashing into both windows in the front of the shop.
Staff at Baker’s Centre Heidelberg in Jacob Street got the fright of their lives when a driver plowed through the shop’s front windows earlier this morning.
The car came through the windows, and there was glass, shelves and products flying around and landing all over the floor.
According to staff, the female driver was not seriously hurt during the accident. It seems that except for the total wreckage of the shopfront, and no other injuries occurred, Heidelberg/Nigel Heraut reports.
