Armed robbery at East Rand Mall

The Boksburg Advertiser has received information that a robbery has taken place at the East Rand Mall.
A gang of robbers allegedly targeted one of the shops in the mall, while another report suggests that it could have been a cash-in-transit heist.

One of the guards allegedly shot a suspect.
The suspect who was shot is taken to hospital.
Reports are circulating that some of the suspects are still hiding in the mall, while another report suggests that one of them has been caught along Rietfontein Road.
Details are not yet confirmed, but Boksburg Advertiser journalists are on the scene.
