Polokwane DA ward councillor’s house burns down

DA Ward Councillor Androe Botha believes the incident may be politically motivated.


The house of a Polokwane DA ward councillor burned down in the early hours of Monday morning, reports Polokwane Review.

Androe Botha said luckily her family was not home at the time of the incident.

“Thankfully, the children were at the house of a family member in the city,” Botha told Polokwane Review.

Botha was on her way home early on Monday morning when she began receiving the first photos of the burning house.

She believes the incident may be politically motivated.
