KZN’s Zethe wins Vodacom NXT Level

Zethembiso Perfect Mdletshe, affectionately known as ‘Zethe’, is a 24-year-old singer from Ngwelezane in KwaZulu-Natal.

Viewers went crazy last night when one of the favourites won the inaugural round of the prestigious competition, Zululand Observer reports.

Zethe is the first ever to win the Vodacom NXT Level competition, which has been running for the past five months, and loyal viewers have been supporting and voting for the 24-year-old.

Zethe’s fans from her hometown in the Zululand region and the City of uMhlathuze took to social media to congratulate her and express how proud they were of one of their own.

A music graduate and part-time musician, Zethe also runs her own events company that mainly deals with promoting events and artist bookings.

Some of her biggest music influences include Mafikizolo and Simphiwe Dana.
