Sisulu is planning to write to the disciplinary chair of the ANC’s committee to request that further action is taken against the politicians, ministers and public servants fingered in the thousands of Gupta emails which were leaked at the end of May.
The emails show how the Guptas had to first approve of Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane before his official appointment to the Cabinet – they were sent his CV, paid for Des van Rooyen’s flight to Dubai, as well as for former Eskom CEO Koko Matshela’s stay at a luxury hotel in Dubai, coached Zwane to respond to media queries and press conferences and wrote notes for the ANC Youth League’s leader, Collen Maine, before a press briefing.

However, Sisulu’s comments were not taken lightly on Twitter. Since launching her presidential campaign a month ago, Sisulu has become more vocal and critical of President Jacob Zuma and his allies. Last week she questioned why disciplinary action had not been taken against him.
“I have been insisting that there must be a disciplinary process so that if there is an interpretation that if you put the ANC into disrepute, that is an offence.”
“If we all agreed at the policy conference that that is what happened to the president, why was he not taken through a disciplinary process? We have an integrity committee [and if they fail] they should take the matter to the disciplinary committee,” Sisulu said.
On social media, some recalled how Sisulu had defended Zuma and was allegedly part of a group of politicians who were influential in bringing him to power.
Too late. Her campaigning strategy makes her look like a joke.

She potentially could have been SA’s golden lady but she’s late. There is no more credible structure in the ANC.
