Learners caught eating ‘space cakes’ at Ladysmith primary school

Reports have emerged that learners were caught eating “space cakes” at a primary school this morning, May 28, Ladysmith Gazette reports.

It is believed that a learner brought the “space cakes” to school and gave them to at least two other pupils to eat.

The learner is believed to be in Grade 6, and was found in possession of loose dagga as well.

Police have been notified, and have been called out to the school.

Space cakes are baked using marijuana, which is added to the cake mixture. Eating a “space cake”, like most marijuana edibles, is said to result in an intense and extremely long-lasting high.
