Jiba, Mrwebi have until Tuesday to respond to Mokgoro inquiry report
Findings to the report will only be publicly released once they have had an opportunity to make their representations to the president.

The suspended deputy national director of public prosecutions (NDPP) Nomgcobo Jiba and suspended special director of public prosecutions Lawrence Mrwebi have until Tuesday to make representations to President Cyril Ramaphosa on their fitness to hold office in the National Prosecuting Authority.
Ramaphosa met with retired Constitutional Court Justice Yvonne Mokgoro on Wednesday to gain clarity on the report regarding Mrwebi and Jiba.
Mokgoro used the opportunity of the meeting on Wednesday to present bound copies of the report and the evidence compiled to answer questions the president had on the report.
Ramaphosa has shared the report with both Jiba and Mrwebi and requested them to submit representations they may have in response to the findings by Tuesday, April 16.
The Mokgoro inquiry, which was established in October last year, placed Jiba and Mrwebi on suspension with full pay pending the outcome of the inquiry.
Findings to the report will only be publicly released once Jiba and Mrwebi have had an opportunity to consider and make their representations to the president. Once Ramaphosa has considered the representations, only then can the report be publicised.
Ramaphosa lauded Mokgoro, advocate Kgomotso Moroka and attorney Thenjiwe Vilakazi for their timely work.
