According to police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe, police in Zebediela outside Mokopane are investigating a case of inquest after the body of a 15-year-old girl was discovered by her mother, Bosveld Review reports.
“The girl told her mother that she needed to rest and asked her to wake her up later. When no response came from the room, the girl’s mother used the spare key to gain access, and she discovered her daughter’s lifeless body lying on the floor in her own vomit,” Ngoepe explained.

Police and emergency services were summoned to the scene and declared the girl dead on arrival.
“The deceased was identified as Elisa Mosa Masenya, a Gr 9 learner at Rasplas Secondary School,” he said.
Ngoepe added that no foul play was suspected at this stage.
“The cause of this tragic incident is unknown, but police investigations will reveal as they are still unfolding,” he concluded.
