The DA says it will file an urgent interdict in the Pretoria High Court in a bid to stop Molefe’s reappointment as Eskom CEO.

A group of DA and Congress of the People (Cope) supporters gathered outside Eskom’s headquarters in Megawatt Park, Johannesburg, to protest against the controversial reinstatement of Brian Molefe as CEO of the power utility.
Molefe’s return to Eskom, announced on Friday, sparked widespread outrage from the ANC, Cosatu, Business Leadership SA, Corruption Watch and several other groupings and political parties.
