Female security guard severely beaten by angry Kaizer Chiefs fans
The supporters were apparently heading in the direction of head coach Steve Komphela, who resigned with immediate effect after the game.

A female security personnel was severely beaten by angry Kaizer Chiefs fans after Amakhosi’s 2-0 defeat against Free State Stars in their Nedbank Cup semi-final match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday night.
The security guard was kicked several times in the upper chest and beaten with plastic chairs by a group of hooligans who invaded the pitch at the end of the game before police intervened.

According to a TimesLIVE report, a ball boy and several other spectators were also injured. Fans set fire to an SABC camera and damaged several others belonging to SuperSport.
Among the damages incurred reportedly included seats and advertising hoardings that were ripped out. Fire was started on the eastern side of Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Two cars in the parking lot behind the stadium were also damaged and speakers around the field were kicked to pieces. A further R3 million in damages is reportedly estimated to the audio equipment for the match entertainment.
