Father of missing baby girl appeals for public’s help

Anyone who knows of the little girl's location should contact their local police station.


The father of the one-month-old baby, who is missing after a hijacking incident in central Durban on Friday afternoon, has reportedly pleaded for the public to assist them in locating the baby.

TimesLive quoted the little girl’s father, Christopher Mbambo in his address to journalists outside the Durban Central Police Station on Saturday as urging anyone who hears of the whereabouts of his baby to contact the police.

Earlier, the Berea Mail reported that the mass search, which saw more than 100 police officers, civilians and other stakeholders search areas of Cato Manor in an attempt to find the one-month-old baby girl, was called off.

Any persons with information were urged to contact their nearest SAPS station where the information would be followed up. Should new information of the baby’s whereabouts come to light, police will reinstate the search.
