The Dros restaurant has offered help to the family of a six-year-old girl who was allegedly raped at one of its franchises in Silverton, reports Pretoria East Rekord.
It is alleged that a 20-year-old man forced himself on the girl in the restaurant’s bathrooms on Saturday.

In a statement, the restaurant said it was in contact with the family to offer its sympathy and “any form of assistance”.
“[We have] offered our assistance in any form that would or could reasonably be required in a matter of this nature.
“We have also been in close communication with the owners, management and staff of the said Dros outlet.”
An eyewitness told Pretoria East Rekord that the mother enquired after the child, who had left the play area to go to the toilet.
The mother then went to the toilet to find her but she wasn’t there.
“She may have heard sounds coming from the male toilet and that’s when she tried to open the door, but it was blocked.
“When the door was finally opened, the guy was completely naked and so was the little girl.”
The child was found bleeding from the groin area.
The witness said when customers realised what had happened, they assaulted the man.
The restaurant manager then locked him in the toilet.
The man was taken to hospital by an ambulance after the angry mob attacked him.
The restaurant said it would not give any more details as the incident was subject to investigation.
The man was arrested and appeared in the Pretoria regional court on Tuesday on charges of rape, possession of drugs, intimidation, and assault with the intention to do grievous bodily harm.
eNCA tweeted on Wednesday that the suspect was found to have been in possession of a suspicious powder, which has been sent for testing.
