Details: Zumas fork out 120 head of cattle, cash for Swazi princess in lobola settlement

Zuma’s son with late wife Kate Mantsho, Mxolisi has taken a Swati princess as his bride.

Last weekend, the Zumas concluded lobola negotiations for Ziyanda who is the daughter  of Prince Fanyana Dlamini, brother to King Mswati III who was also present at the traditional ceremony.

Sunday Times reports that the Zumas gave Princess Ziyanda R250,000 in cash as well as R50,000 paid by her husband to ‘continue glowing.’  She was also gifted with R140,000 from King Mswati III and over R100,000 from her extended family bringing the total amount to R1 million.

The Zumas also paid 120 herd of cattle for the Swazi princess and at the end of the weekend, returned with her to Nkandla in Kwa-Zulu Natal.

“Your majesty, it looks like the game is one sided. It is our belief that the Zumas will be marrying three times that will mean 3-0 if I were to talk about a soccer game.

“We also have beautiful women, so you need to do something about that because very soon we will be coming back for a third one,” Zuma who  has been engaged to Princess Sebentile Dlamini since 2002 added.

This is the second marriage for Mxolisi who married Phindile Luthuli in 2008.
