Robber stabs KZN pensioner repeatedly for bank card pin

Police have launched a manhunt for a violent robber who stabbed a 79-year-old man several times shortly on Sunday evening, reports South Coast Herald.

According to the Saps, the intruder broke into the man’s home, held him at knife-point and robbed him of his bank card.

He then demanded the man’s PIN number.

When the man failed to comply, the intruder stabbed him repeatedly in the back until the man gave him the number.

The man was taken to a hospital in Amanzimtoti. A case of house robbery has been registered for investigation by the Umkomaas Saps.
