Pretoria veterinarian shot and killed during robbery

Police have confirmed that a veterinarian died after he was shot during an armed robbery at an animal clinic in Pretoria Moot.
The robbery occurred on Thursday evening, reports Pretoria Moot Rekord.

Details were sketchy, but according to police spokesperson Captain Jan Sepato, three suspects, one female and two males, were involved in the robbery.
“I do not have the full details at this stage but I can confirm that one of the [veterinarians] was shot,” Sepato said.
“The man later passed away as a result of his injuries.”
Police could not reveal the identity of the deceased.
Reports on social media called on community members to be on the lookout for a silver Nissan Tiida, which the three robbers allegedly used to flee.
