The police have again cautioned the public to be wary of sharing unverified information about the coronavirus epidemic in SA.
A photo that was shared like wildfire on WhatsApp on Thursday suggested that a hard lockdown was likely to remain in place until 11 May.
Although it looked quite convincing, the SA Police Service made it clear that it was fake news and people sharing it could be liable for prosecution.
