Judge Thokozile Masipa asked his lawyer Barry Roux if he would be able to proceed after the trial had to pause at the request of Roux.
“He is very emotional. It is not going to change. May I approach him?” asked Roux.
He spoke to Pistorius and returned to face Masipa and said: “He says he is willing that the evidence must proceed.”
Masipa said, before Professor Gert Saayman continued, that when she stopped the live broadcast at Saayman’s request because of the graphic detail of the testimony, she also meant blogging.
“When I referred to Twitter I failed to refer to blogging as well. So Twitter is not allowed, blogging is not allowed.”
While Saayman resumed his testimony of “portions of bone”, gagging noises could be heard from Pistorius.
