One of Diepsloot’s most wanted serial rapists arrested
The suspect is wanted in connection with 13 rape cases, as well as other crimes including robbery, kidnapping, and attempted rape.

Police have arrested a suspect, said to be one of the most wanted serial rapists in Diepsloot, while he was attending a church service, confirmed Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini, spokesperson for the Gauteng Provincial police.
The suspect was arrested on Sunday after community members tipped police off to his location, reports Randburg Sun.

“He will be appearing at Randburg Magistrate Court on 8 April to face several charges of rape,” Dlamini said.
The suspect is wanted by police in connection with 13 cases of rape in the Diepsloot and Westonaria areas. According to the police, his modus operandi was to attack his victims in the early hours of the morning or late at night. He is also wanted on various crime for robbery, kidnapping, theft and attempted rape.
He added that the provincial commissioner Elias Mawela praised the police for their rapid response and the alertness by members of the public to isolate criminals in their area.
