Manhunt launched after horror Eastern Cape farm attack
A man succumbed to his injuries after being stabbed in the back.

SAPS in Kirkwood have launched a manhunt for three suspects, after they allegedly broke into a family’s farm in Dunbrody on Sunday evening and violently attacked them, said police spokesperson Captain Gerda Swart.
Police said that the family were home when an unknown male gained entry to their property. The father, 51, and his son allegedly managed to overpower the suspect, but two more suspects entered the house.

The father was stabbed in the back, prompting him and his son to release the suspect and run away from the scene.
The 51-year-old was then rushed to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police confirmed that a task team was set up immediately to search for the suspects, who are reported to have worn balaclavas when they attacked the family.
It is not yet known if anything was taken from the home during the invasion.
