Police are investigating a case of murder after a man and a woman died in a hail of bullets, while travelling in a Ferrari in Soweto on Sunday.
The 41-year-old man and 21-year-old woman were driving in the Ferrari at the corner of Chris Hani and Klipvalley roads in Soweto at around 10pm.
“A Toyota Etios with unconfirmed number of occupants blocked them and started shooting at the Ferrari before speeding off,” said police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo.
Both victims died on the scene.

The gunman reportedly then went home and shot himself.
The gunman was a taxi owner suspected to have been the woman’s former lover.
