Gauteng police nabbed three suspects, including an ex-girlfriend, for the murder of a missing Vanderbijlpark couple.
The trio, aged between 30 and 32, are being charged with three counts of murder, kidnapping and house robbery.
The 35-year-old man and his 29-year-old pregnant partner were reported missing on 15 December in Vanderbijlpark.
Crime Intelligence, together with the Hawks, Gauteng Provincial Investigation Unit, Sedibeng K9, Saps Vanderbijlpark and Saps Heidelberg, sought out the missing couple.

Police spokesperson Colonel Mavela Masondo said the search led them to Heidelberg, where they arrested three suspects, including the ex-girlfriend of the deceased man.
The arrests led them to where the couple’s bodies were dumped in an open field on 23 December.
Masondo said additional charges are imminent.
The suspects are scheduled to make their first court appearance on Wednesday.
Provincial Commissioner General Elias Mawela commended authorities for the swift arrests of the alleged perpetrators.
