Community watch Whatsapp group helps cops snag cash-in-transit suspects

There is currently an active crime scene in Lombardy East where seven suspects have reportedly been cornered in a house in the area.
Gunfire was also reportedly been exchanged between law enforcement and the suspects.

The confrontation reportedly began after an attempted cash-in-transit heist in Lyndhurst which saw the suspects flee after their attempt failed.

Twitter user @irisgirling shared how a neighbourhood watch Whatsapp group assisted in the arrest by sharing tip-offs of the suspects’ movements through the neighbourhood.
One suspect is still on the loose.
