Four security guards who were on duty and two other suspects were arrested by Conville police officers after a business break-in early on Sunday morning, reports George Herald.
Conville police station commander Col AB Kriga: “At approximately 1am on Sunday morning, our station received information about an alleged break-in in progress at the Lancewood factory shop in Nelson Mandela Boulevard. On arrival, officers found a grey Foton bakkie hidden on the premises.”

The vehicle was searched and 241 boxes of cheese, worth approximately R150,000, were found in the vehicle.
All six suspects – Andile Noko, Sibusise Mohammed Khanzi, Zoliswa Magcuntsu, Amon Mudusuneli Bebeta, Mabhuit Bob, and Lindokuhle Bhomela – appeared in the George Magistrate Court on Monday. They were released on bail and will be back in court on April 5.
Police said the owners of the business confirmed that there has been an increase in break-ins since June last year.
Lancewood confirmed the incident, but declined to comment, as the investigation was ongoing
